Wikipedia:Review all policy

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Review all policy, no policy or guideline should go more than a year without being checked to ensure it still reflects consensus. Policies may need updating, or have been neglected, they may have been altered incorrectly at some point without being noticed, they may have suffered from instruction creep. There can be a tendancy to equate inertia to consensus, and this can lead to policy and guidelines that do not reflect consensus.

Peer review

[edit]

Review should occur by a process of peer review to ensure the policy still has a consensus support. This peer review may bring up styling issues for the policy page, or issues with the policy itself.

Listing for review

[edit]

You can list a page for review by (not sure where to list it yet. maybe here? Probably in a 'templated subpage' fashion as with other peer review methods).
