Not done - While I appreciate the sentiment, I don't feel 15 edits are enough for us to evaluate your suitability for this tool, nor for you to gain a good understanding of how the wiki-world works. Feel free to try again in a couple of months. Nikkimaria (talk) 01:28, 25 September 2010 (UTC)

I have recently earned a barnstar for my works on the Chilean mine collapse article, and I have read everything about being a reviewer. I have been warned many times about vandalism, but I have changed and stopped ever since. --Jeffwang16 (Talk) (Contributions) (Email me!) 23:03, 28 October 2010 (UTC)
Not done Reviewer only allows you to accept edits on pending changes-protected articles. While your efforts are great, you haven't gained much experience in that area. In fact, as far as I can see, you've only ever made one edit on a PC-protected article. A little more relevant experience would serve you well. I would like to become a reviewer because there are some pages that are semiprotected that I am more or less an expert on. IE Runescape. I play this game constantly and the guide needs a few changes/additions here and there and I can't get them added because other reviewers disagree with the general public.

Not done - Thanks for wanting to help out, but you haven't made enough contributions yet to be granted this tool. I recommend you keep working on article building without it for another month or two, and then re-request the permission. Nikkimaria (talk) 19:08, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Okay I'll try but I'm not Always on so not sure how many contributions I can make. Thank you for the reply. Also I apologize for any previous Vandalisms I may have committed. I looked at my contributions and noticed it looked like I had, but I don't remember them as ts been so long. I have grown up since then so I promise it wont ever happen again. I don't even know why I would have done that in the first place. I love Wikipedia and it is my first choice for research.

This would be a nice way to start making bigger contributions to Wikipedia. Denisxavier (talk) 03:08, 7 November 2010 (UTC)

I discovered that one of your recent edits [1] was a copyright violation. Some of the text that you added on the Tactical Beacon article has been copied from http://www.janes.com/articles/Janes-Avionics/BE499-TACBE-Tactical-Beacon-United-Kingdom.html. I'm afraid a reviewer also has to understand copyright violations. Minimac (talk) 19:07, 8 November 2010 (UTC)

I think that I would make a good reviewer because, although my edit count is not necessarily the highest, I have an excellent grasp of English, and have nearly no spelling mistakes. I am constantly using Wikipedia and in the case that I find any error in an article I always confirm that it is, in fact, an error using reliable resources outside Wikipedia (for example Dictionary.com for any spelling errors"). I am more focused on the grammar and spelling errors when I'm not in my "area"(chemistry) trusting that the author has inputted valid information. I have been searching through some semi-protected articles (such as the article "Jimmy Whales") and have found some errors, yet due to the fact that I don't have permission to edit these errors it has not been possible for me to correct them. It is so that I request permission to review such articles. Supernovablackholedarkmatter (talk) 03:15, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Thebirdlover has some good edits. But however, see [3], [4] where he reverted an editor's blanking of their own talk page, [5] where he warned a blocked editor, and see this unexplained revert, and [6] where he used uw-vandalism3 as a first warning.  Not done I want to thank you for your commitment to Wikipedia; however, at just over 50 edit, it is difficult to assess your experience in dealing with possible flagged BLP violations. Please continue to help out around the site, undoing vandalism from your watch-list and articles you are working on and maybe after a couple hundred edits, you can request rollback rights, and then later down the road, possibly reviewer. Also many of the things you stated above you can do even without the reviewer rights. Kindly Calmer Waters 23:40, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

I would like to be given permission to edit the article Libya, particularly the section that was named Libya under Gadaffi. The majority of the article "Libya" is readable, the sections on the history of Libya are very well done, but the section Libya under Gadaffi needs a lot of work. I would like to request Reviewer rights. I have made numerous edits and I feel that I know what constitutes to vandalism. Joker264 (talk) 08:40, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
Not done. you certainly do. Feezo (send a signal | watch the sky) 08:58, 8 April 2011 (UTC)
i may not be the best wiki user, as I have made some mistakes but the reason I'm requesting to be a reviewer is wiki articles are being vandalize way too often, so i'm willing to help prevent future vandals from ruining the hard edits... Coolhawks88 (talk) 20:11, 11 April 2011 (UTC)
Not done I'm sorry. You appear to be editing in good faith, but numerous editors have voiced concerns about you. I'm particularly troubled by this comment — interaction with other editors is necessary for a collaborative project such as Wikipedia. The Reviewer tool has the potential to bring you into conflict with other editors, and the ability and willingness to communicate are required to effectively use it. Reason for requesting Reviewer rights 01001010101010010101001 (talk) 02:33, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I would like to be granted reviewer rights because firstly, I am against vandalism. I understand the wp:vandalism very well and can determine between vandalism and good faith edits. I would not bite the newcommers, and I think that also, Reviewer rights would be able to let me participate better on this project and other articles with the review status. Thank you for listening, 01001010101010010101001 (talk) 02:33, 12 April 2011 (UTC)

Not done Did you seriously try to link to ED's 'offended' page? I would reject your request outright for this. Otherwise, I'm seeing a good faith, but somewhat inexperienced editor. I'm sorry to bring this up, but your communication skills also need work — your message here to Wintertanager was almost meaninglessly vague. As a reviewer, you would be expected to be able to effectively defend your decisions when challenged, and at present I am dubious about your ability to do this. Feezo (send a signal | watch the sky) 03:25, 12 April 2011 (UTC)
While I have not been on Wikipedia for very long and in my first few days I made some big mistakes I have now turned around and I feel that the number of usful edits makes up for the few bad edits I made at the start. I have been fighting vandalism and have used my experiances to make sure that I am kind to new comers and warn them in a kinder way than I was treated while still getting the message across. To help do this I have joined many WikiProjects, in particular the WikiProject on User Warnings. I am also a new pages patroller. I would love this tool to make fighting vadalism easier. Oddbodz (talk) 13:32, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
Not done, sorry. You've been very active in the month since your block, which is great, but during that time you've made elementary mistakes, such as welcoming users (1, [8]) who have been here far longer than yourself. Slow down, ease up on the use of templates, and use care in your messages to other editors. Not every situation calls for a boilerplate response; communication skills, especially when one is exercising a right such as reviewer, are essential. Feezo (send a signal | watch the sky) 19:46, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

I understand where you are coming why my request has been declined. However, i feel that however long a user has been here, they should still have a welcome as the first thing that is on their user page. This was shown when a user who had been here longer than me who I welcomed came to thank me on my talk page. The other user you refrenced had not recieved a welcome from me. Oddbodz (talk) 20:32, 13 April 2011 (UTC)

Did you read {{uw-vandalism1}}? It includes the phrase "Welcome to Wikipedia", which is definitely inappropriate for a user welcomed more than five years ago. I'm not saying you can't ever have Reviewer, but you need to slow up the frenetic pace, and take care in composing messages. Feezo (send a signal | watch the sky) 08:40, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
I joined Wikipedia one year ago and I have made 3,810 edits. I want to help prevent vandalism which is one of the main reasons frustrating me when I create new articles Trananh1980 (talk) 03:35, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Say waaaaa? You only have 101 edits. Am I missing something. mauchoeagle 03:43, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
Yeah. Most of them are on the Vietnamese Wikipedia; see [9]. However, it also appears he's blocked there, so I'm hesitant to grant reviewer based on those edits, at least without an explanation. Feezo (send a signal | watch the sky) 04:00, 25 April 2011 (UTC)
I'm sorry, i forgot to explain. I am mostly active in Vietnamese. I was blocked for an expiry of one month because of a dispute between me and a Vietnamese sysop regarding nothing relating to article editing. I hold full responsibility for every detail about myself i provide here. Thank you!--Trananh1980 (talk) 23:51, 25 April 2011 (UTC)

Not done I'm sorry, but when taking into consideration a user's experience, we can only evaluate what they've done on en.wiki; because of that, I'm awfully sorry, but I don't feel comfortamble with giving you this flag for the moment. Please do keep up the good work and reapply in a couple of months, if you're still interested. Salvio Let's talk about it! 00:25, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
That's fine. I hope this feature will be built into other languages soon. Thank you for your kindness!--Trananh1980 (talk) 02:13, 28 April 2011 (UTC)
I've been editing for almost a year now. Made more than 200 edits and made one new article and have read the guidelines. Qantasplanes (talk) 06:44, 30 April 2011 (UTC)
Not done Given the recent notices on your talk page, I think you need to spend more time reading up on Wikipedia policies and guidelines before asking for this bit. Dabomb87 (talk) 03:38, 1 May 2011 (UTC)

I edit Wikipedia often, and I understand that vandalism is disruptive and bad. As a reviewer, I try hard to revert all vandalism. Alam567 (talk) 19:55, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
Not done for now. You really need to get a few more edits first across a wider range of articles. -- WOSlinker (talk) 14:37, 8 May 2011 (UTC)
The http://wiki.riteme.site/wiki/Brandun_DeShay page is repeatedly vandalized and I would like to add a automatic revert option to this page so that I do not have to fix it every two days. Thank you very much. Yleonmgnt (talk) 06:09, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
Not done An 'automatic revert option' can't be installed on one page, so far as I know. The reverting tool is Rollback, not reviewer, and I feel you don't need that. You only seem to edit one article, and Rollback is for general fighting of vandalism. I'm also slightly concerned about an element of 'ownership' (WP:OWN and an element of conflict of interest (WP:COI) as your username suggests a management role - are you with the management for this person? Reason for requesting Reviewer rights mezzaninelounge (talk) 20:58, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

I have read all the policies and guidelines related to reviewer rights and agree to abide by them. I feel I am ready for this as I have a reasonable history of editing frequently on Wikipedia. If given this privilege, I would continue to do my best to combat vandalism and remove edits that are inconsistent with Wikipedia's basic content and legal policies.

Not done – Per the message at the top of the page, Pending Changes is being withdrawn, so the reviewer permission is basically redundant. EdJohnston (talk) 15:25, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
I've read the applicable policies and guidelines regarding my obligations as a Wikipedia reviewer. I pledge to fully abide by those rules, and to use the privilege of review to constructively build and maintain current and future Wikipedia articles. TomHial (talk) 14:06, 16 May 2011 (UTC)

I agree to abide by the reviewing guidelines outlined expectations. I mainly edit articles on the Hebrew Bible, New Testament and Qur'an which are frequent targets for vandalism, and I'm requesting this permission to help combat those issues wherever I find them. It should hopefully be clear from my recent editing history that I can tell the difference between a well-intentioned but misguided addition of content and an act of vandalism. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.

I ask for reviewer permission, having checked through the key competences listed. I have an account and I routinely edit, I have a reasonable editing history. Moreover, any I have sorted any disputes with other editors in a well-mannered way, and feel that more has to be done to encourage discussion and discourage dispute in the religious sector. I have read the Wikipedia policy on vandalism and I do understand what is and what is not vandalism. I have read, referred to and am familiar with the basic content policies: Biographies of living persons, Neutral point of view, No original research, Verifiability and What Wikipedia is not. I have read and am now familiar with the basic legal policy of Wikipedia:Copyrights. Imadjafar (talk) 09:54, 18 May 2011 (UTC)

I have been a new page patroller and rollbacker for awhile and would like to have the reviewer rights so that I can handle vandalism, which is one of the main things I try to combat here on Wikipedia. I understand all of the rules and regulation in regards to being a reviewer and will not abuse this right. Thank you for reading my request. KingRatedRIV (talk) 16:45, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
