Thanks for quick reply on my feedback request posted on August 18, 2010. Yes I agree with you. We should not encourage to create duplicate pages and content. But I have already visited the page which you have shared. This was the only page which motivated me to create new page for SharePoint 2010. That page's title in SharePoint but it is talking about SharePoint 2007, SharePoint 2010, Microsoft Search Server, and Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer. SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010 are two different versions of same product there are a lot of differences between them. And other two product are totally different. We cannot add develop content for all these products in a single page. It will distract users. There should be separate pages for each product listed in that page. Right now I have little knowledge of SharePoint 2010 and reading about this to learn more. I thought its my turn to share my knowledge with the world. My page contains some content which is also there partially in the existing page. But that is the introduction part and introduction will be same we cannot change it. But my plan is to add more content specifically for SharePoint 2010 and I will add content as well as I will read and learn it. Please allow me to go with my new page and make it live so other users can also share their knowledge about SharePoint 2010.

How can I improve this essay?
Phearson (talk) 22:40, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
- Being an essay it can just be your opinion so any comments here are obviously optional.
- The text reads as slightly patronizing, think about how the tone can respect the reader. Perhaps the lead could give a context to who the reader is likely to be?
- "Privileges" could do with a bit of explanation of what they are, maybe a See also list pointing to other articles such as Wikipedia:Administrators would help if the reader wants to find more information.
- Other topics such as mentoring/adopt a user might be helpful, links to Dispute resolution processes that users without any special rights can help with, links to related essays and possibly some inter-wiki links might be of interest.
- Spiderman is a great photo.
