[edit]El Labyrinth John Lloyd Stephens
[edit]Hello! In one film, I came across information that in 1840 John Lloyd Stephens described a system of tunnels and rooms inside a mound, which he called El Labyrinth. What place are you talking about? Thank you in advance. --Vyacheslav84 (talk) 10:00, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- This probably refers to the structure called "the labyrinth" at Oxkintok. Date is wrong though (1842). Card Zero (talk) 10:21, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- Thank you, are there any blocked passages? --Vyacheslav84 (talk) 10:34, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
- "In 2016, we conducted a comprehensive digital documentation of the exterior and interior surfaces and spaces of Satunsat via terrestrial laser scanning (TLS) and structure-from-motion (SfM) photogrammetry." No mention in the linked pdf file of any blocked passages. They continue "the result is a fused, geometrically accurate, full coverage model with exceptional color and texture fidelity," but they don't provide a link where their model can be viewed. Pdf about the survey of Satunsat / Tzat Tun Tzat. Card Zero (talk) 11:25, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
