I'm asking becuase of a fan of the adult cartoon. By the way, when does season 19 start? Venustar84 (talk) 02:26, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If you read the article you linked, it tells you. --Jayron32 02:48, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
If you read the article I linked, it'll tell you September 23. But that's just a guess. InedibleHulk (talk) 11:38, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Albertsons Question

[edit]

So I was reading the Albertsons Article here and read that it had bought Safeway and owned a few other company's. So I was wondering, what others company's are a part of Albertsons, but go by a different name? I tried looking through the Article, but it wasn't organized in a way that I could find the info... --Airplane Maniac (talk) 03:37, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The "history" page at their website is an interesting read. Also, the first paragraph of the WP article you linked mentions ACME, Jewel-Osco, Shaw's and Star Market. Most of the differently-named stores owned by the current Albertsons (Albertsons, LLC) were acquired when they bought back the stores that were sold to SuperValu when the original Albertsons (Albertsons Inc.) was broken up and sold in 2006. In that purchase, completed March 2013, Albertsons, LLC re-acquired all of the former Albertsons stores still owned by SuperValu as well as SuperValu's above-mentioned differently-branded stores. The Safeway purchase was a separate deal completed in January 2015. With that purchase, Albertsons acquired, in addition to Safeway, the following brands: Randalls, Tom Thumb, Carrs Safeway, Vons, and Pavilions. That seems fairly complete but I couldn't find a single listing of Albertsons holdings, so there may be others.--William Thweatt TalkContribs 05:47, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Actually, to be more specific, Albertsons, LLC is itself owned by AB Acquisition, LLC. It is technically this company that owns all of the above brands. This article lists its direct holdings as Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw's, Acme, Tom Thumb, Randalls, United, Pavilions, Star Market, Market Street, Amigos and Carrs. Those subsidiaries may themselves own still more brands.--William Thweatt TalkContribs 05:56, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks William Thweatt! You answered my question!--AM (I would LOVE to talk!) 17:52, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps you want the WP:Help desk? Alansplodge (talk) 23:03, 8 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've added <nowiki> tags to the posting, as otherwise the code causes formatting problems on the rest of the page. The question has been answered on the Help Desk. Tevildo (talk) 10:47, 9 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
