[edit]Order of sentence, putting one element in the front
[edit]In the sentence:
"My child didn't want to eat the soup. And the soup, she did not eat."
Is there any name for the inverted order of the second sentence? --Llaanngg (talk) 23:59, 28 April 2016 (UTC)
- Chiasmus, in case you meant the overall stylistic effect Asmrulz (talk) 11:55, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
- Anastrophe the natural word order inverts, a sentence more interesting to make. Gandalf61 (talk) 12:53, 29 April 2016 (UTC)
