[edit]Polish song translation
[edit]I'm a fan of Three's Company and have been watching some episodes of Lokatorzy, which is a Polish version of the show. I really like this version's catchy theme song, which can be heard here, and am wondering what the lyrics mean. Can anyone transcribe them in Polish and provide an English translation? I asked this on Yahoo Answers once and got only one response, which said that the voices in the song weren't actually singing "lyrics," just scatting or something. However, it sounds like real words to me--albeit ones I can't understand. :) Any help? --CrazyLegsKC 12:52, 6 January 2014 (UTC)
- Since no one else is responding, I will say that, while my Polish is rudimentary, it does not sound to me as if they are singing in Polish. I think it is gibberish or scatting. Marco polo (talk) 19:43, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- Methinks the same.--Lüboslóv Yęzýkin (talk) 10:37, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
Japanese help: Which of the following are good secondary sources for Japanese School in Bucharest?
[edit]Firstly, this should be an okay secondary source, right? What is the first name of the author?
- Yoshikawa, ?? (吉川千穗). "ルーマニアの特色や地域素材を生かした教育活動の工夫 ―中学部音楽科の授業実践より―." (Archive) 前ブカレスト日本人学校 北海道阿寒郡鶴居村立下幌呂小学校
Second: which of the following Google Books sources are good secondary sources for Japanese School in Bucharest (ブカレスト日本人学校)? I did a google books search but Google translate isn't helping:

- Her name is Chiho. The pdf file and the books look OK to me. Oda Mari (talk) 06:44, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, User:Oda Mari! Does the first quote refer to when the school was founded? Generally what are the other sentences talking about? WhisperToMe (talk) 02:38, 8 January 2014 (UTC)
- It's now at AFD so I need help in deciphering these references to the school. WhisperToMe (talk) 15:59, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry for the belated reply. Yes, it does. This official page says the same thing. This ref. says 1979, but I think it's an error. The rest of the first quote says Japanese people in Bucharest requested a Japanese school in December 1975 and the Japanese government granted a license to them in 1977. The second one is about the request for a school bus and the aid to get it. The third one is about the schedule. 3 terms, 238 school days, 68 holidays, etc. The fourth one is about donation to the schools. Oda Mari (talk) 16:01, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! It seems like the first book will be really helpful. I'll see if that info is enough. WhisperToMe (talk) 17:22, 9 January 2014 (UTC)
