I saved a Mexican(?) film about street kids(?) who steal some money from a church(?) to buy a lottery ticket, but when I finally got around to watching it, it had been deleted automatically to make more room. It's not in Category:Films about lotteries and my searching has been fruitless. Any ideas? Clarityfiend (talk) 23:14, 14 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a category about Mexican films or Latin American films? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots02:32, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
We have Category:Mexican films with many subcats.  --Lambiam 03:43, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Is this Los Olvidados? The plot summary in our article doesn't say anything about lottery tickets, but it does say that an early version of the script included a boy selling lottery tickets. --Viennese Waltz 07:33, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No. I'm fairly certain that the plot revolves around the lottery ticket. Clarityfiend (talk) 10:35, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What service did you save the film on? KConWiki (talk) 23:05, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It was on my cable DVR; the movie was shown on TCM. Clarityfiend (talk) 08:32, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you could remember roughly when it was on, perhaps you could look for a TCM schedule around that time. Nil Einne (talk) 08:44, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
TCM schedules don't go back more than a day at most. Oh well, it may pop up again. TCM likes to recycle nearly everything endlessly. Clarityfiend (talk) 09:11, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Does their website have a "contact us" option? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots11:53, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They do monthly articles about the topic of the month that contains the whole monthly schedule like this. 12.116.29.106 (talk) 13:18, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Another guess: is it The Delinquents? --Viennese Waltz 13:12, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, no street kids in it. Clarityfiend (talk) 23:24, 24 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
