[edit]The Silence of the Lambs dancing scene
[edit]When I recently watched The Silence of the Lambs again, I was wondering about Jame Gumb's "lower parts" visible in the [in]famous dancing scene, as it looks very much like female genitals to me – with just a tuft of pubic hair visible, though it is supposed to represent his penis tucked in between his legs. However, when trying to reproduce this, you realize that, for reasons of anatomy, a penis actually can't be completely hidden between the legs that way. Hence my question: What is the deal with this particular aspect of the scene in question? How may the staging have been managed technically?--Hildeoc (talk) 22:08, 13 November 2021 (UTC)
- Looks like a perfectly normal tuck job to me. The penis would need to be held in place by tape to allow movement, but that appearance is quite possible to achieve. --Khajidha (talk) 20:25, 19 November 2021 (UTC)
