[edit]Geography bee
[edit]Who was in the finals of the National Geographic Geography bee in 2010, 2011, and 2012? I want that question and only that question answered. I know I could research it, but I would come across unwanted information. Thanks. Legolover26 (talk) 17:41, 28 May 2012 (UTC) PS is it better to use three tildes or 4? Legolover26 (talk)
- The 2012 finalists are on the National Geographic website here, the 2011 finalists are here and the 2010 finalists are here. And using four tildes in your signature is better, as that displays a timestamp with your signature FlowerpotmaN·(t) 18:15, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- Whew. Found it. Now I know that my friend who is nicknamed Ashgabat is Anthony Cheng of Utah. Legolover26 (talk) 18:22, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- They allow non-whites in Utah??? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 23:43, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- You'd think they'd have to allow non-white women in, having used up all the white women (since a dozen or so are married to each white man there). :-) StuRat (talk) 23:41, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
- Unwanted information? Are you afraid your brain will overflow? —Tamfang (talk) 18:31, 30 May 2012 (UTC)
- Also, I thought there were rules against "outing". And oddly enough, right after saying he wanted one specific question answered only, he asked another. I hope this info won't tax his colorful-plastic-pieces brain too much:

Franchise tag in American football
[edit]Can teams tag the same player with it two or more years in a row. I know this would be impractical, but is it possible? Buggie111 (talk) 23:15, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- Here's a link to franchise tag for those interested in learning about this. I don't think anyone is confused about what American football is but most outsiders have probably ever heard of the franchise tag. Dismas|(talk) 23:29, 28 May 2012 (UTC)
- The Toronto Sun says, "There is nothing preventing a team from franchise-tagging the same player again the next year, or even the year after that."[1] ESPN implies the same: "At a minimum, a team should not be allowed to franchise a guy more than once. That just seems like cruel and unusual punishment. But that won't be changed for the next 10 years, thanks to the latest CBA."[2] Clarityfiend (talk) 03:11, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. Happened to do this in Madden '07 and was a bit surprised. Buggie111 (talk) 03:22, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
