Ricky Gervais current stand-up comedy act

[edit]

I have two tickets to go see Ricky Gervais doing stand up comedy at the Chicago Theatre in a few weeks. I'm considering asking this girl to go with me. We've only had a couple dates but from what I can gather, she seems to be a bit religious, and I know Ricky Gervais does some jokes that religious people might find offensive. So, here's my question: does anyone know how much anti-religious humor Gervais has in his current stand-up act? A Quest For Knowledge (talk) 01:06, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A review can be found at [1]. This may help. Exxolon (talk) 02:33, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You should do doing something else besides watching a show, let alone an atheist's show. I'm an atheist, so I'm trying to help. Imagine Reason (talk) 19:15, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

dog in The Wiz

[edit]

I've seen the little dog in, The Wiz starring Diana Ross. What was the dog actor's name and what kind of a dog was he/she? If more information is out there, please let me know. Thank you.24.90.204.234 (talk) 04:32, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I assume you mean the film version. The original stage production probably used several.
According to the IMDB, Toto was supplied by the Dawn Animal Agency. They may be able to answer your question. Rojomoke (talk) 08:25, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
This page seems to have a picture of Toto from the film. (I've never seen the film and am therefore unsure) And in that it looks like either a Schnauzer or a gray Cairn Terrier. Dismas|(talk) 08:29, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I contacted the Dawn Animal Agency by email about the same matter. Apparently, they haven't gotten back to me yet. I only contacted them once. This is regarding the dog actor who played Toto in the film version of the Wiz. What was his/her name? What kind of dog was he/she?24.90.204.234 (talk) 02:21, 9 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Diana Ross wasn't in the stage production. Everard Proudfoot (talk) 05:50, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pseudo legendary pokemon

[edit]

In the Tyranitar article, I noticed something about it being one of 5 pseudolegendary pokemon, based on it's stats, or something like that. What are the other 4? Jds500 (talk) 20:54, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

name

[edit]

I'm looking for an chaildrens tv show about a family that moved into a castle and the children found a secret staircase behind the fireplace and there was a wizard. Also there was a magic rock which was purple in color and gave someone powers but also turned them evil —Preceding unsigned comment added by FamousGaga (talkcontribs) 22:38, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Might be The Magician's House? Although that's a big old house, rather than a castle. Rojomoke (talk) 06:40, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pachelbel's Canon

[edit]

Where can I find sheet music for Pachelbel's Canon in B-flat D and in bass clef online, or is that even possible? Samwb123T-C-E 23:21, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Googling "Pachelbel's canon sheet music" seems to turn up a lot of stuff. It is apparently free, for the most part, but it might not be exactly what you're looking for. Adam Bishop (talk) 05:46, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Here's the complete score and more: Pachelbel's Canon and Gigue. And if you don't know imslp yet, I recommend browsing it... Gil_mo (talk) 22:47, 8 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
