[edit]Trying to identify obscure anime film
[edit]Hi, I'm trying to identify a film that I remember watching in my childhood and I can't seem to find its name. My memories are not quite precise, but I'll try to give as much information as possible: it's a Japanese animated film, made in the late seventies or early eighties (I watched it in 1987, in Spain, so it was probable made before 1986). It was a science-fiction adventure story about (at least) two boys, one chubby and another wore glasses, maybe there were more protagonists. I also remember there was a special girl around that ended up dying in a very sad moment. It shouldn't be a really rare japanese film since it was released (to video) in Spain, and dubbed. Thank you for your help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.24.136.36 (talk) 10:43, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- Your description is too general to give an answer. SYSS Mouse (talk) 15:58, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- I know it is too general. If I had more solid data about the movie I would be able to find it using imdb power search in no time. Nevertheless, I don't think there are many japanese animation movies about a chubby boy and another one with glasses, with a girl dying at the end. It's true that the kind of information I'm giving is useless for an automated search, but I hope that if someone has seen it, he or she will identify the film. Thank you in any case for your answer and I'm sorry I can't provide more information. 78.24.136.36 (talk) 17:34, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Geneis - Tonight Tonight Tonight single 86.175.89.205 (talk) 11:27, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit]On the single I have the labels are the wrong way around i.e the 'Tonight Tonight Tonight' side actually plays In the Glow Of Night and visa versa. Is that by design or a production error?
Thanks
Alan
- Nothing in the article for "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight" indicates it was intentionally misprinted. Tomdobb (talk) 13:29, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- You might get a few extra bucks/pounds for it from a Genesis fan, depending on how many copies were mispressed in this way. Mispresses can be very collectable. --Richardrj talk email 14:01, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
Cartman
[edit]Why does Erik Cartman hate hippies so much? 65.167.146.130 (talk) 20:54, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- The character section in the article on Cartman explains it all. --Whip it! Now whip it good! 21:09, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- From Wikiquote:
- "Hippieeees.... Hippieees all around me, they say they wanna save the world but all they do is smoke pot and smell bad." ("Cherokee hair tampons" when talking in his sleep, having nightmares)
- "Drugs are bad because if you do drugs you're a hippie and hippies suck."
- (Paraphrasing from memory): "they say they wanna save the earth but they drive around in cars that get poor gas mileage" etc
- etc...

- Hating hippies is pretty common. See the second paragraph of Never Trust a Hippy; it's a common punk slogan. Of course, Cartman does hate pretty much everyone: Jews, poor people, most of his fellow students, etc. --Maltelauridsbrigge (talk) 14:55, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Because the writers though it would be funny. And it is. --—— Gadget850 (Ed) talk - 13:05, 9 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit]what song is played in the ad on living tv for the new series of criminal minds? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.41.174.107 (talk) 23:32, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
- Do you remember any of the lyrics, or is there a clip of it online that we could view? - EronTalk 00:07, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
If this fan site thread is correct: [1] the song has no name other than just being called the theme song.10draftsdeep (talk) 16:25, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
- Oops! I just read your question again and see you asking about an advertisement for the show instead of the actual program, so my answer above may not be what you are looking for.10draftsdeep (talk) 16:32, 5 March 2009 (UTC)
