[edit]Statistics in play resulting in turnover in American football
[edit]A play during the New Mexico Bowl has led me to wonder: are offensive statistics counted during plays that ultimately result in turnovers? In this play, a tailback fumbled after crossing the first-down line, and the defense recovered. Does the offense get credit for gaining a first down? Nyttend (talk) 00:28, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- No. See [1], page 16, Article 4. -- Mwalcoff (talk) 05:46, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

- According to her "gigography" (a neologism for a list of performances, it appears) listed at www.songkick.com, it doesn't seem like she ever played in Boulder. However, I'm not certain how comprehensive that website is. — Michael J 23:14, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
