April 20[edit]

Laughing My Butt Off[edit]

Why did they make Magaki from KOFlike ham? It makes me laugh knowing my bad guy loves ham. Shoot when I was fighting him I couldn't stop laughing the whole entire time. I kept on getting killed because I was cracking the ham jokes. And why did they make Shion from KOF series a male instead of a female?

Thank You

Always

Complete Soundtrack Listing[edit]

<moved from humanities desk>
Hi, I'm looking for a complete listing of all the songs used on the 1994 BBC TV show Takin' Over the Asylum. There is no official soundtrack to speak of, and I would simply rewatch all the episodes to determine the music, but the problem is is that certain songs are played only for a very short duration, or are just instrumental. In other words, making it very hard to determine what they are. It's apparently pretty infamous because it used a great deal of famous songs without clearance, such as Beatles, Beach Boys, Elvis etc. etc. ANY help is greatly appreciated. And the award can't go to...[edit]

Why can't the Emmy telecast win an Emmy? David Milch 02:00, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Because Hollywood's shameless attempt to give itself awards would be too self-evident. Oh wait, that's what they do with the Emmys and the Oscars anyways... Kreachure (talk) 22:22, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's an honor just to be nominated[edit]

Did Kelsey Grammar set a record for being nominated for the same character on 3 shows? Susan Lucci 17:04, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's what it says in our article on him. Although, there is no source for the statement. Dismas|(talk) 08:53, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Halo Soundtrack[edit]

Can someone ID the music that starts at around 1:13 in the Halo 3 Vidoc "Is Quisnam Protero Damno!"? It also plays in Halo 2 on the level Quarantine Zone I think. Thanks! 24.6.46.92 (talk) 17:32, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What's the name of the cranked instrument Arcade Fire uses on "Keep The Car Running"? - [1] Jonathan Ross calls it a hurdy gurdy. I always had something else in mind when I thought of a hurdy gurdy. Corvus cornixtalk 23:44, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That is indeed a hurgy gurdy they are playing. Weird instrument it is. Nice medieval sound though! Fribbler (talk) 23:18, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
See Hurdy gurdy. Julia Rossi (talk) 01:50, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hm. I always had the image of that box shaped thing that either hung from a neck or stood on a single leg, usually with a monkey somewhere nearby.  :) Corvus cornixtalk 17:08, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe you're confusing it with an organ grinder? Recury (talk) 17:41, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted let Corvus Cornix know that I also had the same image. --LarryMac | Talk 17:55, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, that's it. Thanks, Larry.  :) Corvus cornixtalk 18:23, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You, me and Larry too! Skittle (talk) 20:24, 22 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Now we just have to figure out what Donovan was singing about. --LarryMac | Talk 13:03, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
