[edit]Intelligent picture morphing or rendering software
[edit]I am looking for a solution to bring knowledge to this project and stripe copyrights of in taking just information from several pictures. Example: An item which has no copyright or other applicable rights on itself should be brought to Wikipedia. Sometimes the item does not exist anymore. In several countries, a Fair Use license does not exist and all existing pictures are under copyright or no applicable license for redistribution or similar as required in Wikipedia. As information and knowledge can not be protected, but a written text, compilation, created picture or procedure can be protected, the sum or variety of information several pictures of the same item might be compiled to an self or automatic drawn picture which is taking the information only to create an own work in an new picture.
Is there an already existing software to tool which can fulfill this need? An if not how would You try to search for it? --Hans Haase (有问题吗) 19:46, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
- Might this run into issues of WP:Original Research and/or WP:Synthesis? {The poster formerly known as 87.81.230.195} 2.121.162.183 (talk) 04:54, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
- No, an article in Wikipedia usually is not taken from a single source. Several photos of an object are usually not taken from same camera location and not at the same time. What we and other journalists and editors do with information should be possible to be done on pictures, not to copy it, but creating a new work from various reliable information. When declared as a created picture, it shows the viewer the truth about the picture and it has the ability to bring something the viewer a idea about the item where fair use licensing is not avail. In our brain synthesis is done permanently to figure out it an information, picture, taste, smell, feeling or sound is part of the item or not. This is the 1st step where intelligence is needed to avoid a creation by taking a false part to it. The 2nd is to find select habits form errors. Image, we have a 100 Year old music and 3 samples of records. The copyright expired, but all records have scratches and other damages. To differ not by interpolishing a typical scrap, I want to take the information from that, the other undamaged records have stored. --Hans Haase (有问题吗) 07:49, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
- See Remaster for the activity of assembling a new better recording (of audio or image) from previous recordings. We have a List of remastering software. DroneB (talk) 13:17, 24 August 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, that was helpful, now looking for remastering by using multiple sources. --Hans Haase (有问题吗) 12:41, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
