[edit]Constant bandwidths VPNs / proxies?
[edit]Do there exist VPNs that stream constant bandwidth at all times (regardless of the actual "content" bandwidth)? From what I understand that should add a good bit of privacy against someone who is observing the traffic going in and out. --212.226.74.1 (talk) 03:16, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- They can still observe the other side of the VPN. People tend to want the maximum possible instantaneous speed when web surfing and with reasonable home broadband, trying to keep it saturated 24/7 would probably run into problems. What you're asking may be more practical for low-bandwidth stuff like text chat or even voice chat. 67.119.3.248 (talk) 04:39, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
