[edit]- Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Donald Trump proposal for displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)
Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – WP:CT/A-I. Leonidlednev (T, C, L) 08:27, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Declined Article does not look like it will be kept, there is no apparent disruption, and I think we have a higher bar to protect an AfD (Not that I've never done it). Daniel Case (talk) 01:22, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. Aqurs1 (talk) 08:44, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- User(s) blocked. Both IPs have been blocked for two weeks; I have also added the article to the existing partial block on 87.116.160.0/19 (block range · block log (global) · WHOIS (partial)) Daniel Case (talk) 01:27, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Reason: The Janata Party article has been repeatedly targeted by high levels of IP vandalism, particularly from mobile IPs and IPv6 addresses, even after being protected for a month. To prevent further disruption and maintain the integrity of the page, I request extended protection. The party is one of India’s oldest, with Navneet Chaturvedi as its current president. Kumar Amans (talk) 09:03, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Semi-protected for a period of three months, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Will leave CTOPS notice on talk page. Daniel Case (talk) 01:30, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Extended confirmed protection: Arbitration enforcement – I'm actually unfamiliar with editing in this area (re Israel/Palestine-related issues), but have noticed the ARBPIA template being used on a few talk pages, so am just submitting this here as this seems a likely candidate, given the current hot topic re antisemitic attacks in Australia at the moment. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 11:43, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Daniel Case (talk) 01:32, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Indefinite semi-protection: Persistent vandalism. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 12:12, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Page appears to be targeted by a user who is imitating BMX on WheeIs and Supreme Genghis Khan 24.55.33.220 (talk) 20:36, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Semi-protected indefinitely. Daniel Case (talk) 01:36, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Reason: High level of IP vandalism Tonyy Starkk (talk) 12:56, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Daniel Case (talk) 02:38, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Indefinite extended confirmed protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Per WP:GSCASTE, disruptive editing by IPs belonging to LTA Truthfindervert. - Ratnahastin (talk) 13:09, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Extended confirmed protected indefinitely. And logged. Daniel Case (talk) 02:42, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent disruptive editing – Persistent tampering with the long standing result by new users/IPs, possible sockpuppetry. HistoryofIran (talk) 14:16, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Yup, there is definitely some sockpuppetry involved. At least the IP 31.146.123.47 is User:CeRcVa13. I'll file an SPI later today when I have time. HistoryofIran (talk) 14:18, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Semi-protected for a period of three months, after which the page will be automatically unprotected. Daniel Case (talk) 02:48, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – edit war between fans in putting their favourite actor first in order. Aadirulez8 (talk) 19:52, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- Declined – Not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection. Not many edits this month, really. Daniel Case (talk) 02:50, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Reason: An IP user known as "80.208.68.164" has been adding nonsense into the page since October. Wheatley2 (speak to me) (watch me) 23:11, 1 February 2025 (UTC)
- User(s) blocked. After reading the discussion on user's talk page, blocked from List of Danish Flags page for one year.— rsjaffe 🗣️ 00:41, 2 February 2025 (UTC)

- User(s) blocked. Both IPs blocked 1 week. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 00:28, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – IP editors kept on adding sourced content. Cassiopeia talk 00:39, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Semi-protection: Persistent vandalism – Almost nonstop vandalism. Would also be ok with pending changes as well. Filmssssssssssss (talk) 00:52, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
- Pending-changes protected indefinitely. Years of sporadic vandilism. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 02:01, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
Temporary semi-protection: Persistent sockpuppetry – The page keeps getting disrupted by IP sockpuppets of User:Jdhfox - see this SPI archive where all the various IP addresses that attack this page fall into either a /40 or /41 IPv6 range which unfortunately seems to have quite some traffic from other editors. Hence, looks like we might have to protect this page or lay a partial-block on the range. — AP 499D25 (talk) 01:01, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
- User(s) blocked. /41 blocked from page for 6 months. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 02:09, 2 February 2025 (UTC)
