Rollback

I have been cleaning up vandalism mostly with the help of Twinkle. I was granted temporary rollback rights in 2021 but then life got busy and I didn't seek an extension. I now have more time to dedicate to counter-vandalism efforts again. ClaudineChionh (she/her · talk · contribs · email) 13:05, 15 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello there, I'm requesting for permissions because I know it will save a lot of time my time to undo problematic edits. I have read the guidelines for how and when to use rollback so yes am ready. Cheers

Hello!

I have been guiding new users against Vandalism for a while now and this is done mostly offline.however, recently my passion for more onwiki contribution grew and I signed up as a host on Wikipedia Teahouse where I have been guiding new editors, I will like to request the right to roll back edit in order to do more of onwiki tasks and ease the work of admins. Tesleemah (talk) 19:00, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done I reviewed your contributions and found little to no recent anti-vandalism work. If you're still interested in this tool then please spend at least a month actively patrolling RecentChanges (Twinkle & Ultraviolet can help with that) before reapplying. Also, please ensure that you are consistently warning editors when you revert their edits. Thanks, Fastily 19:47, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alright, thank you Tesleemah (talk) 21:17, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to have rollback because vandalism on wikipedia is always high and it is important to have people looking out for potential vandals, and lower this. I will not give mercy unless it is a good faith edit and will make sure to always warn users, as I am doing right now with the help of Ultraviolet.  Not done. Sorry, but you do not meet the minimum requirements for the perm, which include 200 mainspace edits. Hey man im josh (talk) 16:12, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It says I have 400 edits? Not 69? What is a mainspace edit difference from a normal edit?? Cooldudeseven7 (Discuss over a cup of tea?) 17:12, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A mainspace edit is (bit of oversimplication) an edit to an actual, live Wikipedia article, as opposed to a user's talk page, this page (in the Wikipedia) namespace, or something else. See WP:MAINSPACE. Sincerely, Guessitsavis (she/they) (Talk) 17:25, 17 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reason for requesting rollback rights: I have over 800 edits, most of which are on the main space. I am aware I have a somewhat lousy history with giving proper edit summaries, as i didn't fill out revision summaries, but I have tried to rectify it. I was also involved in a dispute which might have been classified as an edit war back in April. Other then that I have a clean slate. Thanks for considering.
