Wikipedia:Picture peer review/Clouds over Snæfellsjökull

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A very local storm above Snæfellsjökull, demonstrating how mountains "pull" clouds towards them.

Very high EV (because it shows clearly what difference in barometric pressure does to clouds) but a low quality (taken from an iPhone).

  • As the photographer notes, the image quality issues are too severe to disregard. (Was this image taken from a moving vehicle? I'm trying to figure out the source of blurring in the yellow road markers.) Issues with image sharpness throughout. Conspicuous dust in sky distracts from the 'real' clouds. In order to illustrate cloud formation, it might have been better to include more of the sky in the photo (less than half of the frame is above the horizon).
