Wikipedia:Picture peer review/1943 copper cent

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
1943 Copper Cent, Obverse and Reverse.

In stark contrast to Image:United States penny, obverse, 2002.jpg, an example of a coin that has nicely and naturally toned and aged well, despite it's rare status. Image is found in 1943 Steel Cent and used in the Template:User twocents. Source: [1] Images courtesy of Ira & Larry Goldberg Coins & Collectibles, Inc.

Comments:

  • The resolution is a bit too low for FPC. Also, although the coin itself is interesting for its extreme rarity, the picture just looks like a random, old, worn penny, which would probably work against it. --Davepape 15:18, 9 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
