Planning on elevating to featured article status, so I need some advice on what to add, delete or change. - A Link to the Past (talk) 01:04, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
- A few gripes here. First: far too screenshots. What's up with that? Don't be afraid to borrow from the Bosses page (but even that needs in-game action shots). Also: Trading Sequence? WTF? This is not Gamefaqs.com. This article also has even less context than the previous two. Wasn't this really popular? I vaguely recall EGM rating it the #1 game of all time, or something like that. Didn't it inspire anything (possibly Boktai)? --Maru (talk) 02:37, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
- Nah, EGM's #1 games in the past have been Tetris and Super Metroid. Link's Awakening might've been high, but even then I think The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask were higher. --Shadow Hog 15:26, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
- Nah, it went like this: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past > The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask > The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time > The Legend of Zelda > The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. - A Link to the Past (talk) 18:02, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
- They liked Majora better than Ocarina? I'm kinda surprised. But actually I was talking not about the ratings, but an issue they ran a year or two ago, "The Top 100 games of all time". No 1. was some Zelda game which I thought was Link's Awakening. --Maru (talk) 19:58, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
- And, incidentally, that's the very thing we're talking about, too. Tetris or Super Metroid took the top slots, not Zelda. --Shadow Hog 21:54, 21 September 2005 (UTC)
- Nope. The top five was #1. Super Metroid, #2. Tetris, #3. The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, #4. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and #5. Super Mario 64.
