Wikipedia:Peer review/Sweet Creature/archive1

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've listed this article for peer review because this recently got promoted to a GA, and I would like to take it to FAC. Although this article is about a non-single song, I think the coverage is comprehensive for an album track. I'd appreciate any comments on prose, references, and manual of style, that could likely help this article become a FA. Thanks, Viridian Bovary (talk) 06:47, 26 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did the GAN review for the article. I do not have much to add, and I think a more outside opinion and review would be more beneficial. I would encourage you to reach out to editors who have worked on music articles, particularly those experienced with FACs. My suggestions are below:

  • done
  • For this part, four new songs written and performed by him, I would say "recorded by" instead of "performed by". I associate "performed" more with a live performance context and I think "recorded" is a little more accurate for this part as I believe you are more so talking about the song being recorded in a studio.
  • agreed, done
  • For this part, "country-indebted Laurel Canyon sound", I would link Laurel Canyon.
  • added
  • For this part, a "modern-day take" on the mentioned song, I would clarify what you mean by "the mentioned song" as it is not immediately clear in the prose.
  • revised

I think the article is in very good shape, but I would encourage you to leave the peer review up to get further feedback. I hope my very brief comments are helpful. Have a great rest of your weekend! Aoba47 (talk) 23:08, 28 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
