Wikipedia:Peer review/Milpitas, California/archive1
- (Intro: Milpitas is a suburb of San Jose, California with a population of 62,698)
The Milpitas article was a former featured article candidate that failed. (see here). Two main objections were that it reads too much like a travel guide (i.e., copyediting needed) and that the media section has a huge list that is unneessary. I want to improve this article's:
- Grammar and style
- Clumsy sections
- What imformation is important and needed and what is not needed
This article is also far larger than Sunnyvale, California, Santa Clara, California, and Fremont, California, which have populations more than twice as large as Milpitas'.
This article was only like this around New Year 2005. Several people improved the article then. [1] After that I came along, wrote most of the article and went for a featured article nomination. [2] Now it's even better.
Can anyone improve or tell me how to improve this article even more? Milpitas guy 20:47, 26 July 2005 (UTC) I'm willing to guide you provided you take IFF you willing to take care of ALL my concerns. Is this acceptable? =Nichalp «Talk»= 19:10, July 31, 2005 (UTC)
