  • The main problem with this article is the sourcing concerns. I don't see any reliable third-party sources sourcing most of the content. The following challenge-able statements need backing inline citations:
    • entire Background section
    • entire Personal life
      • What is the relevance of mentioning so much about these people ( Native Florentine, Paola Scaravelli, Jon Cohen and Cohen’s grandmother) and even their publications? are they even notable? It all depends on the availability on third-party sources covering it.
  • The Accolades section should be stripped of it's unsourced and promotional content leaving only the bare facts like the various awards he received and when. I see statements like "The prestigious awards, established by the Shanghai Municipality People’s Government, recognize outstanding contributions to the city of Shanghai" or "with the Outstanding Achievement Award". These are all words to watch out for, see WP:PEA.
  • Format the citations in the references section. Giving only the ISBN is bare minimum, but it will be better if you added the page, book title, date of publication, author etc to ease verifiability. I think all the books belong to the article subject itself and used for the section "Publications". This isn't needed and in any case, you can't rely on books written by the subject, you need third-party reliable sources.

First, I thank you for your work about Lorenzo Cohen. I think personally that works about prestigious scientists are required in Wikipedia so that they would not be very misconsidered and so that new scientists can study the careers of their professors and learn lessons from their experiences... However, this was unfortunately not evocated in your work.

  • About his personal life: You did not mention where we grew up and how this excellent scholar lived his first years although this is important to notice the personality of the scientist and how it influenced his career. You did not mention whether he is married or not, if he has some children... All thcircumstances are important to see the conditions of work of the scientist and notice clearly whether they are tough.
  • About his undergraduate and postgraduate studies: You did not mention why the scientist chose the career of Professor of Medicine and how he had chosen his medical specialty... You can also notice whether he was a brilliant student or not and if he had been interested in some other sciences like Biology during his undergraduate studies. You can also mention some information about his PhD thesis and his postdoc training...
  • About his field of interest: You did not mention the field of interest of the scientist excepting in the beginning of the work. You should probably involve some information about the discoveries he made, his ideas and thoughts, whether he has some scientific rivals, if his ideas and discoveries had been really used in practice... Such information can be found in journals and some websites and can be useful for audience to see the efficiency to the works of the scientist.
  • The choice of the important literature: The choice of the important literature written by Lorenzo Cohen should be done according to a given metrics. I think that you should include the ones that had been cited the most and that are classifying his name as the first coauthor, the second one, the third one or the fourth one because the list you afforded is large. Indicate also if one of the papers had been a Thomson Reuters Fast Breaking Paper or if he coauthored with one of the SCI Highly Cited or the Nobel Laureates...
  • PhD Students: Indicate major PhD Students of Lorenzo Cohen and their performances when trained by Cohen and cite if they hold now important positions...
  • Other facts: You can write about the work of Lorenzo Cohen within some organizations... You can indicate the name of conferences he organized... You can indicate his governmental and institutional positions...

Yours Sincerely,
