Wikipedia:Peer review/Finnish Civil War/archive1
I think this article has potential for good or featured article but still misses something. The article doesn't have any sources pointed to the text but the Finnish Wikipedia's featured article has 77 sources pointed to the text. It's quite hard to find correct spots as the articles are differently written and have different points though. --Pudeo (Talk) 16:28, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- To add we just made and fixed the references part. I think the notes should be linked to the references, as they now only have the year and the surname of the reference book writer. Not sure how to do it but atleast current FA atomic line filter has them so somehow.. --Pudeo (Talk) 21:16, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- I've added a few links in the lead section. Other than that I don't see any obvious flaws, but I didn't completely read it - maybe later. It's quite long, maybe a bit too long - but I wouldn't start splitting it up yet. If you're confident about the text, I wouldn't hesitate to put this up for WP:GA. - Sorry, being a clumsy wikipedist I just cannot make the refs to the strength and casualty numbers. They are following.
Strenghts: Germans 13 000 Arimo 1991, White and Red soldiers Manninen 1992-1993, Swedish soldiers Upton 1981, Russians Upton 1981 and Manninen 1993.
Casualties: All those killed in action Sotasurmat table, Manninen 1992-1993, executed Reds Paavolainen 1966 and Sotasurmat table, executed Whites Paavolainen 1967 and Sotasurmat table, Red prisoners starved or else Sotasurmat and Paavolainen 1971. --84.231.165.135 15:45, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
