Wikipedia:Meetup/Seattle/UW Molecular Engineering and Sciences edit-a-thon 8-06-2016

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
When: Saturday, 8-6-2016, 10:30am-4:00pm
Who: UW students, faculty, and staff; Seattle community members
Where: UW Molecular Engineering & Sciences Building
Focus: Wikipedia topic pages related to Molecular Engineering

Please join us for our first-ever MolES Wikipedia Edit-a-thon in support of Wikimedia Foundation’s 2016 Year of Science effort.

Students, faculty, and research staff will collaborate to update existing pages and create new ones related to molecular engineering. Our first task will be to give the molecular engineering page the attention it needs, and we also look forward to adding information about molecular engineering into pages for related disciplines and topics as time and attendance allows.

No experience editing is required! We will have experienced “wikipedians” available to assist with creating accounts, pages, and editing existing pages.

If you cannot attend but would like to have input in scheduling subsequent sessions, please let us know. We look forward to making this a recurring MolES community event and we welcome your suggestions.
