Everyone is welcome to attend a edit-a-thon hosted by San Diego Wikimedians User Group at an American Legion post in Kearny Mesa, San Diego, during the same month which has Veterans Day. This will be the 78th Wikipedia meetup in San Diego County.

Please bring your own laptop/computer, there is free wifi provided by the American Legion post. Come learn to modify, or create, content on Wikipedia from experienced Wikipedians. Learn how to upload media to Wikimedia Commons. Both will contribute to the goal of open knowledge.
Getting there
[edit]This American legion post is located between California State Route 52, California State Route 163, and Interstate 805, in the Kearny Mesa neighborhood of San Diego. Carpooling is encouraged, and free parking is available onsite. It is possible to get to the location by way of San Diego Metropolitan Transit System's Bus Route 44.
Internal location
[edit]We shall be in the hall, east of the bar (bar will remain open to American Legion members, and their guests, during the event)
In San Diego County, emergency health regulations expired in June 2021. Wearing of face mask is recommended, but not required, for those who have been fully vaccinated from COVID-19. Wearing of face mask is required in indoor public settings, by the California Department of Public Health guidance, for those who have not been fully vaccinated. Please be respectful of everyone's personal choices on whether they individually choose to wear a face mask or not.
