Agenda
[edit]- Purpose: Check in with WMUS-NYC / WMF / Grants committees
- Metrics and Reporting Position: Update on the hiring process.
- Discussion of organizational priorities. This is a process we go through with all grantees. While the application process may focus on your programs, regular check ins are a time to also focus on how your organization is working. We can jointly define some organizational priorities and check in on progress in these areas periodically. Most organization define 2-4 priorities for the year.
- Update on program work since the start of the grant. Since it will be a little while before a report is due, now will be a good time to give WMF a picture of what you have achieved so far this year in your programs.
- Financial update. Is spending on track? Is cash flow OK? Are any changes to line items in the budget needed at this time?
- Key action items TBD, on the call
Notes
[edit]- Prep for WMF Checkin – from Winifred's email
- Regular check ins are an important part of the Simple APG process, since they ensure that your chapter gets support during this critical time of growth. One thing that we do with each grantee, is review organizational priorities for the year alongside your program priorities. The application process focuses on your programs, but our check ins are a time when we can define and track progress against organizational goals.
- At our check in, we can talk more about what we want to accomplish together this year and you can also give me a review of what's been happening over the past few months since your grant started. I am especially interested in an update about where you are in the hiring process for the new part-time person, and what policies you are putting in place for the management of that person and their role.
