Virtual participation

[edit]

Can't make it to an event? You can participate online whether the day of or at another time. Here's how it works:

  1. Don't have a user name yet? Create one.
  2. Choose an article to edit from the Lists of articles to edit. Want to work on an article that is not on the list? Go ahead! You're welcome to choose any topic that you like!
  3. Use the Resources for editing below to learn how to edit.

Goals

[edit]
  • To encourage inexperienced editors (especially women) and provide training on how to contribute to Wikipedia
  • To improve a selection of Wikipedia articles related to women
  • To increase awareness of the research resources freely available through libraries, archives, and museums
