African Americans in STEM fields Editathon for Black History Month

In celebration of Black History Month 2015, we will collaborate to update and improve Wikipedia articles about African Americans in technical fields. (STEM = science, technology, engineering and mathematics.) You can participate from a browser, anywhere. Most people are participating online. See twitter hashtag #BHMEditathon. Some participants are gathering in Washington, DC.

When: Tuesday, Feb 24, editing from 5-7pm EST

Coordinating virtually: During the event, participants, please identify the topics you are working on on this hackpad page. We will coordinate there. To link to your Wikipedia user page, add your username in the list below.

Your Wikipedia Account: If you don't have a Wikipedia user account, please try to create one in advance. You'll need to pick a username -- that's the hardest part!
