Minnesota flag submission F1435 - minor alterations

Proposal F1435, which was one of the six finalists from last year's competition to design a new state flag for Minnesota.

Request: This is a cobbled together coat of arms from various SVG elements. Everything is correct and in the right place(ish), it could just do with a tidy-up by someone more proficient than I am, especially with regards the text along the bottom. The blue cross in the centre ought really be a bit wider and the fleur de lis wider and larger as a result to maintain proportions. If anyone is able to clean it up, I'd be hugely grateful. @J. Dann I saw the answers in the Help desk, I am disappointed but I respect those opinions. Instead of overwriting I will submit a request to the administrators to change the file names. I would like to change the name of the old flag to "Incorrect Flag of Formosa 1895" first, and your file to "Flag of Formosa 1895". I do not know if it is possible to give a name used earlier somewhere else, if not I will try with the name "Flag of the Republic of Formosa (1895) - obverse". Here are some instructions on how to create these Diagrams:- Shape= rectangular (round corner), Frame=white, Background= Dark green, Text= white, Nepali font style=Preeti ttf/milan ttf, English font style=UK Transport heavy/ UK Transport medium.

The Nepali text should be placed up and English text should be down and Nepali font should be 17% larger than the English text.

As you can see, the text labels here (A, B, C,...) are off-center from their rectangles. I made this in Inkscape, at which I'm no pro, and it shows up just fine in-editor (I used the centering tools to align the text with the rectangles). In a web browser, the text appears skewed a bit differently than in the Wikimedia viewer, so I figure there has to be something a bit deeper going on here than just a misalignment. @Cypp0847 The size of the badge is correct now, but the spacing between the red and white background in the disc should also be adjusted accordingly, because I found that the red block below the background is a bit small. The correct red and white dividing line is in the middle of the keychain, that is, between the building and the top of the key. I suggest that the red and white background in the disc be modified accordingly without changing the size and position of the badge, referring to the Gibraltar flag or the current Governor's flag. But it's come to my attention that, even though that's how the Governor's flag is shown on the FOTW webpage, there's a description under the image on the actual page (which can be read properly here) that says the image is a slightly inaccurate depiction of the flag. It should be more like the flag of the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland (which I've added above), as in having the coat of arms in the centre of the Union Jack, with no white disc or surrounding garland. Regarding "Design B", the two crossed chain links in the very centre shouldn't be shown with one overlapping the other, rather they should be shown melded together.

Regarding "Design D", the yellow part should occupy the whole of the ovals surrounded by the chains, as well as form a marginal outline around the right sides of the chains.

Regarding "Design F", the two horizontal white chain links positioned along the top and bottom of the black stripe both appear have three grey lines on them when viewed up close, possibly due to a glitch.

Request: Hi, I know this seems big but it does use some simple elements so it won't so long. I was wondering if someone (it can be more than one user) can kindly please vectorize the flags and logos of the Albanian, Austrian, Brazilian, Canadian and Chilean Olympic Committees? Almost all of these are shown on the "Flags of the World" website and are found in the following links. This request is already big enough as it is so I won't spent too long explaining though the empty files help with what flags and logos need to be done and the links show what they look like. @QuickQuokka: Thank you, and sorry for the delay in responding. Well, all three designs originate from BBC Derby. According to the original website, the designer of the original concept was Leon Summers, with BBC Derby modifying his submission to create what was known as "Design 3". Which is also exactly what BBC Derby did with Martin Enright's submission, modifying it to create "Design 1" (which was of course chosen as Derbyshire's flag). @QuickQuokka: Good point, and profuse apologies for the excessively long delay in getting back to you. Well, I certainly don't pretend to be an expert on CR licenses on Wikipedia. The impression I've gotten is that the uploader wanted to waive their rights to the file, but went about it the wrong way, resulting in using a license that creates a slight bit of confusion. After considering it all, I'd now recommend giving the new file the "Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported", in order to cover the same bases while making it clear that the uploader is not the original designer. @Cypp0847: I'm not entirely sure to be honest, I'm just going off the fact that the other vector logo files for the Taipei Metro, Taoyuan Metro, and Kaohsiung Metro (as well as the former logo for the New Taipei Metro) all use the same licensing and have only been uploaded to Wikipedia, not Wikimedia Commons. I figured that vectorizations with these licenses exclusively uploaded to Wikipedia should be fine.
