About the event

[edit]

Following a meeting called by National Library of Scotland between various members of the ScotWiki community with reference to further working with Wikimedia, and in particular, Wikidata, it was decided to hold a small workshop later in 2019 on uploading images to Wikimedia Commons & data to Wikidata. Our intention is to use this workshop:

  • as a preparatory session for the further upload of material by the National LIbrary
  • to introduce other partners to data and image donation to the Commons
  • to document the session in order that the process and learning can be shared with other partners
  • to introduce participants to Pattypan.
