From June 2019-May 2021, Andy Mabbett, User:Pigsonthewing was Wikimedian in Residence at Coventry University, based in the Disruptive Media Learning Lab (DMLL) at the university's Frederick Lanchester Library.

This page gives an overview of some of the tasks undertaken.

Note: The page does not list many of the internal meetings, provisional discussions with potential collaborators, nor general wiki-gnoming.

  • Begun photographing nearby buildings, with no available free image, according to WikishootMe
  • Negotiated with several Flickr users to release under open licence their pictures of Coventry Cathedral's The Angel with the Eternal Gospel window, which was sadly smashed during a burglary; see c:Category:Coventry Cathedral Great West Window (Screen of Saints and Angels); updated Wikipedia accordingly, and liased with editors of other language Wikipedias to do likewise
