Welcome to the GLAM page for the Department of Pathology, Calicut Medical College! The Department of Pathology is dedicated to improving Wikimedia's content related to pathology. All are welcome to join this project by providing descriptions to the uploaded images, illustrating Wikipedia articles with images from DoP, creating/expanding articles related to pathology, conducting outreach sessions or by curating this page. About us[edit]The Department of Pathology started functioning in 1957. This department is one of the busiest in Calicut Medical College, with divisions for histopathology, cytology and hematology. The DoP handles over 20,000 histopathology specimens,10,000+ cytology specimens and 200,000 hematology specimens. This GLAM project is done in collaboration with CIS-A2K program for the financial year 2014-15. Contact details of DoP, Calicut Medical College can be found here.
