Fordham University is hosting a public meetup to discuss Wikidata, the database service for Wikipedia and Wikimedia projects. Come as you are, but optionally, bring your laptop to participate in a beginners' training for Wikidata.

0:15-0:25 - Descriptions of ongoing Wikidata projects and applications

0:25-0:30 - Demonstration of contributing data to Wikidata

0:30-0:35 - Demonstration of SPARQL endpoint, OpenRefine

0:35-0:40 - Demonstration of editing a Wikipedia article on a computer science-related topic

0:40-end - open discussion, group and individual Wikidata editing
