@Davey2010: It's a free file as it is in public domain. It's original country is the US. So why not. Besides I checked the official website, I see no statement saying that this logo is copyrighted. Could be protected by trademark laws though. It only consists of typefaces, individual words, slogans, or simple geometric shapes. So it should be exported to Commons. Anyway I recreated the file as a vector and am thinking about uploading it to Commons. Masum Reza^📞 22:15, 8 August 2019 (UTC)

Wikipedia is indifferent to whether something is "pretty darn funny" and there is no rationale for why this would be essential for an encyclopedic understanding of the subject, especially when there is already non-free media in use in the article. The Smash article only makes 2 references to Banjo so an image really isn't needed there,

Had I known it was for the Smash article and not Banjo-Kazooie I obviously wouldn't of uploaded it, My fault for not reading the article first!.
