Featured portal review - Archival instructions

To archive a nomination

Featured portal directors will declare whether there is a consensus to removed a portal from featured portals, or allow more time for discussion. If you would like to ask that a nomination be closed, have concerns over a closure, or seek clarification in any regard, please ask at the talk page.

Close the discussion by editing the transcluded discussion and adding the {{subst:FPR top}} and {{subst:FPR bottom}}, noting the result of the discussion.
Remove the transcluded discussion from this page. While removing it, mention the name of the portal in the edit summary with the result of the discussion.
Transclude the discussion into this page's archive of Featured portal reviews.
If the result of the discussion was removed:
1. Remove the {{Featured portal}} from the portal page;
2. Remove the {{FPR}} and update {{ArticleHistory}} in the portal's talk page;
3. Remove entry from Wikipedia:Featured portals, and update the number in brackets in the section subheading;
4. Add the entry to Wikipedia:Featured portal review/archive;
5. Add the entry to Wikipedia:Former featured portals.
