Oppose there simply isn't enough high-quality content here to make a featured portal. At present, the only featured portal about a single individual is Portal:Barack Obama and this comes nowhere near matching that portal's standards. The featured portal criteria state "Because portals promote the best of Wikipedia's content, a featured portal is selective in what it displays. It showcases only high-quality content that is preferably already featured." This portal has only 1 GA (the lead article) and of the 7 "selected articles" none is higher than a B-Class. That just isn't enough these days. And that's before I start commenting on the standard of the blurbs (the rest of Wikipedia stopped using links to years such as 2002 some time ago) or the news section (out of interest, when was "August 63, 2011"?) or the colour scheme (too much orange everywhere, resulting in a failure to meet the requirement that the portal "displays Wikipedia's content in an aesthetically pleasing way.") I suggest you withdraw, concentrate on improving the number and quality of articles upon which this portal can draw and resubmit in due course. Bencherlite ^Talk 00:06, 11 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
