Reason: I'd say this is one of the two best-composed images in Martin Luther King (The one with LBJ is also good.) A fine view of King, though at least one of the other people (Mathew Ahmann, the white man to the left of and behind King]]) is also notable - though the composition highlights King, and so has the most value for articles on him.

- @Brandmeister: While the second has good potential as a lead image (the current is a colourised copy of a rather badly-composed photo), this image, showing him at a non-violent protest, is uniquely suited to illustrate "Non-violence" (at least, of the images suggested) Adam Cuerden ^(talk) 20:49, 21 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
