Reason
Great composition; the peacekeeper in the foreground's expression is (what I find to be) a really world-weary smile. The gun just briefly shown on his left shoulder is just a haunting reminder of what his purpose in the country actually is. The people in the background on the bike and the peacekeeper at left are blurred to varying degrees, leaving a nice focus on the foreground.

The fact that they are wearing a blue helmet is clear proof. Not to mention the black children in the background. JonCatalán(Talk) 03:54, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Note the United Nations emblem on the turban... Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :D 09:29, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not to pick points, but how does one show a peacekeeper's purpose? In the shot they're... well... keeping peace... besides, you can see the guns. It isn't too hard to imagine their role. Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :D 09:29, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Weak Oppose I find the composition a bit awkward, not sure why, it just doesn't work well for me. I think I'd prefer a wider angle if we are going to show a deep DOF with other stuff happening in the frame. It's not all bad though, and a good addition to the article. The portrait of the child strikes me as more FP-worthy. Fletcher (talk) 15:33, 24 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
