The greatest TV show in the history of the world ever, at least according to my wife. While I wouldn't go quite that far, it's a pretty cool show and so, twenty-five years to the very day since the first episode aired, I present this list for your consideration. Please let me know what still needs tweaking. I'm on the right hand side of the Atlantic, but have done my best to write in that crazy colonial form of English :-) And in the interests of full disclosure, I'm not in the WikiCup ;-) -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 09:02, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Comment I made an American English fix in the summary of Episode 3 - "Blue Moon is..." instead of "Blue Moon are..." Make sure the rest of the list uses this convention as well. Jujutacular ^T · C 18:07, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Comments daunting list, so that's probably why it's been overlooked for 3.5 weeks. Apologies for that Chris... so my bits 'n' pieces... I wonder if, in the opening sentence, you can provide a little bit more context, e.g. when it ran, where, etc? Done "model who loses most of her assets" fnar. can you specify which assets she lost? Done You seem to switch tense in the lead (Moonlighting is followed by characters were...) Done. Referring to long finished shows in the present tense is an Americanism I haven't yet got to grips with..... "on ABC" - perhaps include "in the United States" (unless the context you'll be adding earlier makes this redundant!) Done I think it'd be safe to link pilot appropriately. Done " The series lasted 5 seasons, but only 66 episodes were produced." - but? but? 12.5 episodes per season is okay isn't it? Perhaps, again, some context as to why this is a "but" rather than a "with". Over here, 12.5 episodes per season would be quite a high figure, but in America their seasons last for nearly six months and usually have at least 20 episodes. That's what's so unusual about that figure of 66 episodes. I've noted this "Ratings declined, however in the later " a comma after however here. Done "cancelled" call me odd but is that one too many l's for a USEng cancelation? Done That's a start, my dinner's on the way, so episode critiques will follow after you've looked at these comments. "left broke" a little colloquial. Did they get those Nazi diamonds in the pilot? "famous mystery author" I take it you mean mystery the genre, not mystery the unknown author... "become involved in a CIA assassination plot, which culminates in a huge food fight at a banquet" yeah, that was Moonlighting alright... "but won't go" avoid contractions. "he winds up dead" a touch colloquial again. "ex-accountant has bought a new life with her stolen money in Argentina" becomes unclear whose money it is... "he can't act like" contractions. "in a diamong heist" a diamong? a diamong? "to the theatre " theater for this list. "she'd never kept " strike three. "can't get along with" make that four. "and can't tell them" gah. "lost Agens to " Agnes. You linked New York but not Chicago. I wonder if there's any need to link these cities at all. "repo men" a bit colloquial, or perhaps ripe for linking. "Agnes' mother" I'm ambivalent, but most of the USEng I've seen would say "Agnes's" here. "man she's living" six. "trash the house." colloquial. "and it's in the" last one. Comments Two columns would make the reflist a bit easier to take in. "The Blue Moon team is cornered by the drug dealer whose money it is, but are able to turn him in and use the reward money to assist their dire financial situation." - This sentence is still a bit strange, the second half of the sentence still uses British convention ("are"). However, simply switching that word to "is" would make a bad-sounding repetition of the word "is". Try rewording. Is episode 62 really titled "Perfetc"? I decided the reflist looks better as it is, at least on my comp. Reworded the sentence, and I'll take Allmovie's word for it, being titled "Perfetc". I guess it's a joke or something.
