Back once more with the 11th of 14 lists. We're definitely winding down this cruise of the Hugo awards; we're done with all the written works, the magazines, editors, and movies, so we now move on to Best Professional Artist. Unlike other Hugo awards, there's no mention of what works the artists in question worked on in the eligibility year; the award is simply noted as going to such-and-such. This makes the table narrower than previous nominations, though I kept the same format. I've tried to incorporate suggestions and changes from previous nominations into this list, as usual. Comments Wow, I just had a terrible thought. Any chance that any of these (or other Hugo Award recipients) have images? It would be nice to see something to "bling up" the list if possible (but I accept that means heading back to the other 10 lists for consistency)... That is a terrible thought! I'll look and see if I can find enough free-use images for this article. I don't think I want them for most of the other articles, such as novels, as I'd need pictures of the winning novels, not who wrote them, but for these "people" awards it makes sense to have pictures of the winners. No promises on this one- despite winning this award, these guys are famous only in a small niche, so free-use photos might be difficult. Is that the best link you could find for artist? If so, it's probably not even worth linking... Delinked. "These five works on the ballot are the five most-nominated ..." perhaps just "These five works on the ballot are those most-nominated.." to reduce repetitive use of "five".... Done. "The 1953 through 1958 awards did ..." reads very awkwardly to me (as a Brit), perhaps "Awards from 1953 to 1958 did not..."? Reworded. "and are held in a different city around " don't need to repeat "are held" (in my opinion). Removed. Note 1 probably needs citation. Got one that states that no awards at all had to be given in a year for it to be eligible to be a retro year.
