Facial hair is required for adminship, no doubt. As administrators discuss age issues at Requests for adminship, some users have taken it upon themselves to install the guideline establishing that in order to be an administrator on the English Wikipedia, the user in question must have facial hair, be over the age of 50, and must be unmarried. (Some users distinguish that Orthodox administrators may have at most one wife, but may not be further promoted to bureaucrat; this has been denounced as disruptive POV-pushing; see mediation discussion.)
