The hip-hop group "Dead Prez" has a new album out called "Pulse Of The People" On the main dead Prez Wikipedia Page they have the album listed but there is no link to a new page, and there are not details about the album.

I would like to create a new page about their new album, but I have never made a Wikipedia page before, and I am a little overwhelmed. Maybe someone with more experience could create the page instead?

Hi, the NY Times Article may have been part of the story, but it does not prove that your topic is notable. Also the list of myspace and twitter pages do not look promising as they indicate self published material and not reliable sources. Can you find more reliable sources to show that others wrote about the topic? Otherwise this looks OK for a start. Hi Guys,

I've drafted an article about WANdisco, the company I work for. It's in my sandbox

I've kept it as unbiased and factual as I can manage, with a focus on the technical implementation, which I think has value to a wider audience who might be interested in our area of expertise.

I'm very concious of the COI rules and don't want to fall foul of anything that is unacceptable. As such I was hoping someone could advise me on the suitability of the article I've written and if not already, what would need to happen to make it good enough for publication. I'd also really appreciate some pointers about what I can do to improve it - perhaps even by removing some content in the short term where I've found it hard to add references?

Thanks Graeme, I've added some more references where I can. The part I am struggling with is where the details of the technology are only available in self published sources (we have a white paper that expands loads, but it's only been published on our website to date). I guess the question is whether there is specific parts I should remove on the grounds of not being able to provide an appropriate reference?

Done what I can for now and published, but I'll keep comign back to it to add further where I can.

Perhaps you should not list all those software products and platforms in the lead paragraph. Also, there is a subsection of Advantages, but no Disadvantages. Are there Disadvantages? Be upfront if there are.(WP:NPOV) There are likely to be objections to the use of the logo from WikiMedia Commons. Look into how this can be done without compromising the company's rights but still meeting the requirements of WikiPedia. People for Better Treatment

PBT was inaugurated on 30th December, 2001 at the Netaji Subash Institute, Sealdah by the founding President Dr. Kunal Saha from USA. What started as a fight for justice against medical malpractice by an individual (Dr. Saha) for the wrongful death of his wife Anuradha, has now turned into a mass movement against the pervasive malpractice across the country. Anuradha, an India-born USA citizen died in the most incomprehensible manner during a social visit to India at an age of only 36 and at the beginning of a productive career as a Child Psychologist. She graduated from the prestigious Columbia University in New York City in 1998 just before her last trip to India

In a historic judgment on "medical negligence" delivered on August 7, 2009, the Supreme Court of India found 4 doctors and Advanced Medicare Research Institute (AMRI) in Kolkata guilty for negligent treatment causing death of Anuradha Saha, wife of PBT president Dr. Kunal Saha.

The Apex Court held senior medicine specialists Dr. Sukumar Mukherjee, Dr. Abani Roychowdhury, senior dermatologist Dr. Baidyanath Halder, physician Dr. Balaram Prasad (associated with the AMRI hospital) as well as the AMRI hospital, responsible for Anuradha's death. In this SC Judgement, the SC has also laid down many new guidelines and rules that doctors/hospitals must observe for treatment of patients.

This historical judgment by the Supreme Court of India is a win for PBT and for all Indian citizens who until now stood silently with no hope for justice against the delinquent doctors of India who stayed above the law and continued the practice of wrongful medicine without any fear.

However, this judgment does not imply that every doctor is "guilty" of malpractice and it is our hope that this judgment does not encourage the public to bring in criminal charges against the doctors at random. However, we also hope that this judgment will make the doctors of India realize that nobody is above the law no matter how influential he/she may be. More importantly, we hope that this judgment will stimulate sweeping changes to bring honesty and transparency in the medical community and specially in the medical councils who have the noble duty to judge impartially the complaints against doctors and to stop malpractice in India. The medical councils in India is inherently flawed with its "doctors only" members whose only purpose is to protect their friends/colleagues without ever caring for the millions of victims of "malpractice". It is because of the corrupt medical councils, the sole protector and regulator of practice of medicine, that the doctors hardly care for their mistakes causing needless loss of thousands of innocent lives everyday.

The primary goal of the PBT is to help the victims of malpractice fins justice and to fight to change the present scenario of the medical councils so that the delinquent doctors of India can be disciplined and malpractice can be eradicated.

As I mentioned before this is very similar in topic to Planetary habitability so a merge is in order. Also 198.163.53.10 seems to be trashing the page. For the merged page remember it is a featured article, so all edits have to maintain the high standard, including prose, balance, referencing, format. Actually it is not at all the same, you obviously don't know what you are talking about. And haven't read either article. That's like saying Ants and People are the same because they both inhabit the Earth, That sounds pretty stupid doesn't it. One Article is about extremophile ET life evolution and the other is about people from Earth inhabiting other planets. Your comment reads as though you didn't read either article. You already have enough information to write a stub, and even a bit more. WP:WikiProject Space would be the place to ask for help. The Drawing Board is mainly for those wishing to start an article rather than finish one. I think that you are ready to start. Firstly I must say this is a very nice looking first article. There are these two concerns: First is the software notable? This means that at least two independent others have published on the topic of XLeratorDB. (This does not include the company or its press releases). Second the use of the company logo is nor fair use, however you could include the logo of the software, or a box cover instead. You should read WP:COI and see if it applies. Stretford End band page

I created a page for my band (it is now in my sandbox)and it was deleted due to lack of sources. I only included factual information and it is not meant as a sales pitch in any way. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could ad to make the page acceptable?

It was actually deleted as being an advertisement, but I would contest that. By the way myspace and itunes are not independent sources, you will need to find that someone else wrote about the band without the band asking for it. Perhaps newspaper or music magazine. Probably the itunes link would be counted as a sales link, so avoid that. WP:COI tells us it is risky to make an article on your own band, your own self or your company. When you recreate your sandbox, don't put in the categories yet or a link to somewhere to buy the records. Do you need the article to be restored? Stretfordend, while Graeme's reply included "don't put in the categories yet" you can include them in the article if you start the link with a colon. For example, [[:Category:All-women bands]] will display as Category:All-women bands but will not include the article in the category.
