This article is seriously inept, considering how often ToS agreements are seen in daily life. I was a bit shocked when I stumbled upon it. --MaTrIx 09:55, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
It is Type of Service, not Terms of Service and is a way of flagging packets that has been around for years, but recently (in the last 3 years or so) has become a popular technique managing quality of service.
ToS agreements aren't only used for services, are they? You often see them appear when you enter a competition, although is a competition considered a service? KennedyBaird 13:45, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
