I am a museum studies graduate student at IUPUI and recently served as the Teacher Assistant for the Collections Care and Management course. Over the past two years this course has helped to create WikiProject Public Art, which includes a variety of tools that can be used in the classroom. I am currently the Wikipedian-in-Residence at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis where I am assisting with museum-Wikipedia collaboration, including a student program to create Wikipedia articles for the museum's notable objects.
My name is Brenda Burk and I am the Philanthropic Studies Archivist at the IUPUI University Library. I just completed Campus Ambassador Training and welcome the opportunity to expand the program at IUPUI by working with faculty members.
I have degrees in philosophy and political science from IUPUI and assisted in the fall of 2011 and spring of 2012. I have had several jobs on campus and I am still recognized from when I worked at the bookstore in 2005–2006.
