Discussion
[edit]- Hi there! I've had three BRFAs approved for previous mass move jobs, and was recently requested on my talk (permalink) to move some more pages (another batch of sports competition pages). I figured I should request more general approval for moving pages under Task 13 so I don't have to file a BRFA every time. So, I am now requesting approval to run the Task 13 mass move script upon request after an RM demonstrates consensus to move the pages, with the conditions that the RM must: I'm requesting approval under these conditions with the intent of mitigating any concerns of misuse of this approval to move whatever I want. I don't mind any changes to these conditions — the intent is that I'd only run this with clear and explicit RM consensus. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 20:11, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Provide the list of pages to be moved,
- Demonstrate clear consensus (not a close call), and
- Note that the pages are proposed to be moved by a bot.
- Speedily Approved.. These are all good preconditions; assuming both the relevant RM and this BRFA are linked in the edit summary, I see no issue with extending this task indefinitely based on the previous runs. Primefac (talk) 09:32, 4 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
