Discussion
[edit]- The Bot has made 8 works on there. I used it not to skip the policies, but to show that it can work. Please, stop denying my request, let me show what can I do by Bot, if it was bad, you just block it, but do not give already judge. --العراقي (talk) 21:36, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
{{BotDenied}} Sorry, but I will have to decline this BRFA per WP:BOTNOTNOW. I checked your contributions, messages and other user concerns and I am not confident you are sufficiently familiar with the processes, consensus requirements and software technicalities that we expect of all bot operators to know. This BRFA itself has strong indication that you are unclear on what is being asked and having several tasks crammed together, all just bare pywiki scripts lacking any detail, and you even list a task which needs admin rights (that you didn't seem to understand from [1], which is a simple error message). Without further picking at your contributions, I suggest you continue positively editing for a while and first demonstrate good knowledge and understanding of Wikipedia and automated processes in general before applying for BRFAs that have to be one task at a time and in sufficient detail (this is all documented in WP:BRFA, in comments of this form, and WP:BOTPOL). — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 18:53, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Restoring my notes from the reverted closure.[2] Leaving this for another BAG member to attend now. — HELLKNOWZ ▎TALK 21:42, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Note: This bot appears to have edited since this BRFA was filed. Bots may not edit outside their own or their operator's userspace unless approved or approved for trial. AnomieBOT⚡ 21:46, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- OK, you are right, Bot must not edit before getting approval, But, you denied the request before let it do one single edit. If you feel that is contrary to the policies, Block the bot & avoid embarrassing. Thank you, --العراقي (talk) 22:32, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Denied., per Hellknowz and the operator's actions since. Anomie⚔ 23:03, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
