[edit]- this bot already exists and is run by eagle 101 Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 15:29, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I cant see it, where exactly is it? Regards --The Sunshine Man 15:42, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Right here. -- Seed 2.0 15:45, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Oh, and if you still intend to go forward with, could you please explain what you mean by 'hidden message'? Thanks. -- Seed 2.0 15:48, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- I mean like what orphan bot does, it inserts a hidden message, so if this bot was approved it would add something like <!-- Image:Example.jpg removed from userspace as it is fairuse - please do not re-add it. Removed by TSM Fairuse Bot -->, thats what I mean, if you have any other questions please ask. Regards --The Sunshine Man 15:56, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Since it's only userspace, ((BotTrial)) for 50 edits, but do not spam users, make one topic then add replies if you can do that. --ST47Talk 00:50, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- The Sunshine Man has requested help producing the source code for his bot. All help would be much appreciated in the construction of this code. E talk 12:23, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why do we need another fair use finding bot? Eagle_101's has caused some controversy in the past (maybe I imagined it), and although it's an important job, I am somewhat sceptical of the need for another bot, running different source code, when Eagle_101's does a perfectly good job. We don't want to be duplicating our efforts, so I would ask TSM to speak to Eagle_101 to determine if there is a need for another bot, and if so, ask him for help. Thanks, Martinp23 12:13, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- (BotTrial) revoked, until we have more details, and until the bot is actually written. Thanks, Martinp23 12:13, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What's going on? --ST47Talk 14:19, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Cancel it, it seems silly if Eagle 101's bot is running, so I withdraw this request to prevent duplicate bots. The Sunshine Man 14:47, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Withdrawn by operator. per above. Martinp23 15:14, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
