@Gonnym: As Category:Rail transport succession modules seems to be currently empty and newly created, can I check the reason for the category (compared to using, say, Special:PrefixIndex/Module:Adjacent_stations/)? ProcrastinatingReader (talk) 11:16, 7 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That's a bit of a strange question. We categorize pages, including templates and modules all the time. Having pages hiding uncategorized in a special page (or in other categories which aren't module categories) makes them harder to find. Additionally, the end result will eventually be to place these in sub-categories by country or continent to offer even more value. If placing them in these sub-categories was possible by a bot I would have asked, but that process would require decision making that a bot can't really do. For example, I wouldn't want a country category created for only 1 module. That module should be placed in the continent category, but how would the bot know which continent that country belongs to? Approved. Under normal circumstances, I would prefer to leave the close for someone else. However, given the backlog, lack of recent BAG activity (myself included), and the fact that this task is uncontroversial and based on how well the trial went, I am inclined to make an exception for this.
